Linocut ABC – “B is for…”

B is for Bears, Birch trees and Berries…. or for yourself or someone you love?

Whomever B is for, it was carefully carved by hand, featuring plenty of fine details, an organic and whimsical composition, a snippet of narrativity, and a realistic portrayal of flora and fauna. It is printed on fine Awagami Japanese paper using an archival quality black ink. The inked image size is approx. 18×24 cm (not including elements breaking the frame), and the paper size approx. 27×39 cm, and can easily be trimmed to fit standard size frames if needed. This particular print is part of an preliminary series of artist’s proofs (AP), and limited to an edition of 8.
