Linocut – “Brave Face”
Putting on a brave face…most of us have to do this from time to time. This monkey is doing it quite literally, as he’s put on the bravest one he could find. I’m not sure if it’s a bunny or a cat, but his mask is rather fierce.
“Brave Face” was carved by hand in lino, inked by hand in a gradient of dark purple and subtly shiny gold, and handpulled on an etching press on 250 gsm Somerset Satin paper. As a result each print is an unique and original artwork, signed and numbered by the artist. The printed area measures approx. 19 x 16 cm, and the paper 28 x 25.

Printed on luxurious Somerset Satin 250gsm paper – an expensive paper of outstanding quality. Each print has two deckled edges, and some prints will come with a discreet Somerset watermark.
All materials used are of archival quality, so if treated correctly this artwork will last for centuries to come.
Limited edition printed in a purple-gold ombre.
