Linocut – “And a Partridge…”

This little linocut guy is ready to share his ambivalent holiday feelings with you and your loved ones. Or maybe he’s just disgruntled because partridges are actually ground dwelling birds.

Designed as part of an ongoing Holiday print project, this little Christmas print was carved using traditional carving tools, printed using archival quality black ink, and handpulled on  fine Awagami Hosho paper. Printed image approx 21×14 cm, paper size approx. 27×20 cm.
