Notebook, small – Medieval Bunny

As I’m currently experimenting with stationery products, I made these little one of a kind notebooks, to test some ideas and techniques. The notebooks used for this project are Moleskine cahiers; the large ones are plain and the pocket sized ruled, the covers are navy and the pages cream. They feature a medieval marginalia bunny design,  printed in super sparkly, raised and textured gold. This highly glittery and tactile result was achieved by using an embossing technique, where the handcarved motive is stamped onto the paper with a special glue; the glue is covered in actual glitter; and the glitter is melted using a heat gun, creating this highly unique look.
